Donkey Derby

Thanks to all who came along to support the singhealthychoirs stand at the Donkey Derby event at Sandhurst on Bank Holiday Monday, 30th May.

The weather was a little chilly and rather overcast but that didn’t deter the donkeys or dissuade the crowds and the event was well attended with plenty of visitors to our stand. The tombola was very popular with the younger ones and many were lucky in winning something from the plentiful range of prizes on offer; others tried their skill at the ‘Buzzy Thing’ – competing against the clock for the fastest time without sounding the buzzer or activating any lights – trickier than it looked and requiring a steady hand and great concentration – congratulations to winner Kieran and runner up Paul.

We had a number of enquiries from potential new choir members with many others taking leaflets and information about our different choir groups. We would encourage all who would like to come along to any one of our groups to give us a try at a free taster session – we promise no audition, no need to read music and absolutely no pressure – just get in touch via our contact page to let us know you plan to attend one of our sessions.
